The Georgia Crop Improvement Association invites you to attend the 56th Annual Peanut Seed Short Course, April 20th at the UGA Tifton Campus Conference Center. We encourage you to attend this meeting as we strive to continue improving our overall peanut program. We have a great lineup of speakers planned including Tyron Spearman, NPBPA; Dr. Marshall Lamb, National Peanut Research Lab; Dr. Scott Monfort, Extension Peanut Specialist; and Dr. Bob Kemerait, Extension Plant Pathologist. Registration will begin at 8:30, and the meeting will adjourn at 12:30 pm. Refreshments will be served at registration, however lunch will not be served.

GCIA APPROVED PLANT REPRESENTATIVES AND PEANUT BUYING POINT REPRESENTATIVES ARE REMINDED THAT THEY MUST ATTEND A SEED SHORT COURSE ONCE EVERY TWO YEARS FOR THE CONDITIONING PLANT OR BUYING POINT TO REMAIN ON THE APPROVED LIST.
